It's that time of year again... Children's Mental Health Ontario is seeking a diverse group of youth to sit on CMHO's New Mentality group - The Youth Action Committee - now into its second term. A poster to publicize this fantastic opportunity is attached, together with an application form and the committee's terms of reference.
Youth between the ages of 13 and 24 interested in de-stigmatizing mental health and advocating for services that best meet their needs are welcome to apply by Wednesday, July 14th.
Telephone interviews will occur July 19th to July 23rd.
Youth/ committee members will be asked to commit approximately 5 hours a month for a one-year contract. Meetings will occur primarily by monthly teleconferences.
