The Ontario Centre of Excellence for Child and Youth Mental Health is hosting a new Gathering Ground series, a custom-designed ‘live and interactive conversation’ for front-line service providers at the following locations.
- April 13–14, 2011- in Mississauga, Delta Meadowvale Resort and Conference Centre
- May 4–5, 2011 – in London, Hilton London Ontario

Gathering Ground Focus:
- Raise awareness of the importance of evidence-informed practices (EIP), change management and readiness, evaluation and youth engagement
- Enhance the use of EIP by service providers by sharing experiences and successes
- Showcase pilot and case examples making a difference
- Enhance networking opportunities among service providers
Gathering Ground Format:
interactive sessions for participants to engage with experts in the field of evidence-informed practice
concurrent sessions for participants to share practical innovations
hands-on workshops for participants to learn about:
- change readiness and change management
- evidence-informed practices
- collaboration and knowledge exchange
- youth engagement and evaluation processes
