mindyourmind has been nominated for the WINDthanks Community Grant. This grant is worth $10,000 and awarded to one organization in London, ON to support a new or existing project that makes a positive change in the community.
mindyourmind was nominated to help support the 2012 International Youth Day Street Team.

Judging of these nominations are as follows:
· The benefit to the community and its members
· The innovation, uniqueness or need for the project in the community
· The support the project receives from the community
That last bullet has a bit of a twist. WIND is looking for community support as part of the judging criteria, so we need to get the word out about our project and the opportunity to win this grant!
We’ve been tweeting like crazy on Twitter, with the hashtag #WINDthanks. The more RTs and shares on Twitter, as well on Facebook, the higher we will score for this one judging point.
Some tips WIND has suggested to get a buzz out about our nomination are:
· Encourage your network to mount a Twitter campaign tagging WIND and WINDthanks
· Get a local newspaper to run a story detailing your project and your nomination for the grant
· Join our Facebook page at facebook.com/WINDMobile and show your support
To start tweeting, folks can follow us on twitter (@mindyourmind_ca) and use #WINDthanks in every tweet when they mention us.
In the meantime, we are working on getting some news coverage - so look out for these! Nominations close Jan 13, but the judging will take place from Jan 13 to mid-February.
