Have you ever felt stressed out having to travel? How could you not be?

There are so many elements that contribute to a stressful environment  when going places. Making sure that you have everything with you that it  doesn’t get lost or stolen, catching your train/flight/bus on time,  figuring out what you’re going to do when you arrive, it’s a difficult  process to go through. But it doesn’t have to be stressful; there are  ways to deal with stress when it comes to exploring the great wide  world.

Later on in the summer I will be taking a journey to Germany, and I  really have no idea what to expect. I don’t speak German very well at  all (no matter what I say), and I’m going to have to meet many of German  people that I don’t know at all and are going to want to carry on  conversations with me (thanks, grandma). But thanks to finding out about  this website: http://iamat.org/editorials.cfm I feel a little better  about making my way overseas.

One of the best tips I saw while reading through their package of tips  and ways to downsize travel stress, was to do research about the place  you’re visiting. For me, finding new things out about a place can help  to decrease the worry around it, because if I understand it then I won’t  be afraid of what it’s all about.

So hopefully this website gives you the right resources to de-stress  when it comes to travelling, and please let us know in the comments if  they look like good ideas, and where your favorite place to travel to  is!
