There's a great article to share with you guys today from the Metro Ottawa news. Steven Page, former front man of Barenaked Ladies, spoke to students at Algonquin College in Ottawa yesterday about his own struggles with mental health issues. Page talked about getting diagnosed with bipolar disorder and being in the public spotlight for getting arrested on drug possession charges. Algonquin College offers mental health services to their students, including mindyourmind's iCopeU resource, a mental health portal customized with information for students at the collge. It also offers a resource to their staff called Starting The Conversation, to help staff identify students who may be struggling. Page tells students they should take advantage of these services and  that good friends are key when going through a hard time.
