COCA Conference

E-mail Print PDF

mindyourmind attended the Canadian Organization of Campus Activities (COCA) Conference on June 24 and 25th and it was a great event! We talked to many college and university student body leaders and told them about our mental health portal, www.iCopeU.com that could be provided on their (your!) campus website for students that are stressed out, struggling or in need of mental health help. The portal would be customized with local and campus resources, basically a one stop shop for ways to get help fast. Everyone we talked to had a story about their own struggles with mental health issues or about their friends or family. We look forward to providing www.iCopeU.com to as many students as possible!

While at COCA, we had as many students as possible give a brief piece of advice to someone that's going to be entering college, university or the next step in their life after high school. Look out for this video mash up - it will be posted in the near future in our Videos section! Bif Naked also appears in the video, sharing some of her own advice.

Although Sue Johanson was there (otherwise known as the sex lady from the Sunday night show "Sex With Sue") as much as we tried to get her to take a look at Adventures in Sex City, she was just way too busy! Hopefully she checks it out some other time. We'd love to know what she thinks of it! Smile

And last but not least, check out a few of our pics from the conference! It was a lot of fun!

"Our social media guy Brian with...well...MJ of course!"

Some other upcoming features include Bif talking to us a bit about one of her tattoos and an interview with an author who wrote a book about his brother's battle with severe anxiety and agoraphobia! Look out for these!
