New (Anti) Fast Food Commercial Draws Attention to the Link between Heart Disease Deaths and Fast Food.

A group of American doctors, the Physicians Committee for Responsible Medicine (PCRM) -, is planning to air some TV spots that could spoil the appetite many customers, particularly "McDonald's,“ and the other  popular fast food chain.

The first of the ads are scheduled to air on Thursday, during one of America’s most popular TV shows, the "Daily Show".

The advertisement takes place at a morgue, where a woman stands sobbing over a deceased somewhat obese man.  The departed man, who looks no older that about 40, is holding a half-eaten hamburger in his one hand, and as the camera pans around towards his feet, where the famous McDonald's logo appears and text that reads: "I was Lovin It!, "an reference to arguably the world’s most famous slogan " “I’m Lovin It!”

At the end of the fast-food anti-commercial, you hear a voice that says, "The high level of cholesterol, high blood pressure, heart attacks. Tonight, eat vegetarian food."
The broadcast spots are planned to be released in major U.S. Market city’s like cities like Chicago, Detroit, Houston and Los Angeles.

The ad has caused a great outcry from McDonald’s administration who has characterized the spots as, scandalous, false and untrue.

What do you think? Does anyone else smell Logo Infringement?
