Arcade Fire continued their awards show winning streak this weekend, taking home a total of four Juno Awards, three of which were for last year's The Suburbs album.
The Montreal indie group received the Album of the Year, Alternative Album of the Year and Songwriter of the Year awards on Saturday and Sunday nights, and were also named Group of the Year.
Canadian music legend Neil Young followed closely, picking up three Junos. Young was named Artist of the Year and won the Adult Alternative Album of the Year. He was also awarded with this year's Humanitarian Award for his contributions to social causes. Daniel Lanois won the Jack Richardson Producer of the Year for his work on Le Noise.
Other notable winners included Said the Whale, Karkwa, Young Artists for Haiti, Matthew Good, Caribou, Deadmau5 and Daniel Lanois. Drake, this year’s host of the awards, was shut out.
Sunday's televised social event highlighted 40 years of Juno history, and included tributes to Joni Mitchell, The Band and Gordon Lightfoot. Shania Twain was inducted into the Canadian Music Hall of Fame after an introduction by superstar Bryan Adams.
There were a couple of great featured performances from the likes of Broken Social Scene and Hedley.
