RESPECT is...

E-mail Print PDF

The respect you give others is a perfect reflection of the respect you give yourself. You need to love yourself exactly as you wish to be loved, take care of yourself exactly as you wish to be cared for and to respect yourself exactly as you wish to be respected. The Old One Respect is reserved for those that continually choose the high road when faced with difficult decisions.
-       Matt, age 24

Respect is giving an attitude you want to receive. If you are talking to someone and someone else comes in and interrupts your conversation how would you feel? So let’s say you do the same to that person and they get angry with you, do they have the right? I think not since they didn’t respect your conversation. I’d say its fair that they receive the same treatment.
-       Kenji, age 19

Respect is being there for others, but letting them have their space when asked to. Not touching anything that doesn’t belong to you.
-       P. George, age 24

Respect is listening at appropriate times, talking at appropriate times and always considering others ideas.
-       Al, age 18

Respect is when you show in a positive way how you feel towards/about someone or something. By listening and being courteous.
-       Unknown

Respect is knowing ones boundaries and trying not to cross them
-       F., age 18

Respect is when you don’t judge a person based on the way they look. But more so on the things that they say and do. Respect is when you treat someone how you, yourself would like to be treated. Respect is when you don’t place judgements. Respect is when you realize that other people have feelings & try your best to make them feel good.
-       Crimson, age 22
