mindyourmind what’s up? First of all I would like to say you have a great website here, people who use this as a resource should be very thankful. So what do the people on mindyourmind want to hear?  That they’re awesome? Because you all are. God has given us the right to be awesome. Yes I Believe in God. I’m the author of Bipolar Life a Journey Filled with God, of course I do. But while writing something for anybody I try not to ask what do they want to hear rather what do they need to hear, and yes every needs to hear they are awesome as well as they usually want to hear it. But I’m wondering if there is a greater need that people who read this website need to hear. I guess the one thing that I have learnt about overcoming pain in my life is that instead of sitting around all the time sad about one’s own pain, the person in pain needs to get up and do something for others. Focusing on other people’s needs, and trying to meet their needs can be very healthy for the person with pain, because they are so busy helping others that they do not even have time to have pity on themselves in their own pain. Now remember though it is healthy to take time to reflect on your own life so do not go ahead and help others to the point of burnout. I just find it comforting that others are going through what you’re going through, and no matter what situation you are in you can help someone somehow. So let’s focus our attention on others and how we can help them.

That’s just a small tip that’s helps me all the time, it’s cool. I hope we can all do this. Excited about International Youth Day coming up? Peace and love to all my brothers and sisters out there. I’m out for now.

Peace, Jay Taff (Jason Taff)
