We started looking at the mytoolkit.ca website a few weeks ago. Now it’s our turn to make something and design a way to advertise mytoolkit.
As the weather moves from cold to seemingly colder, the mindyourmind Street Team’s focus is shifting to our YHP resource, mytoolkit.ca.
On Feb. 6, CTV crews visited mindyourmind to talk to youth and youth advocates about the launch of the new mood-tracking app, mindyourmood.
This week’s street team meeting was no doubt a success. With our splendid new member, Farrell, we started off the meeting by the icebreaker that reminds everyone of Thrift Shop.
Our last mindyourmind session was great. We focused on what is currently labelled Facts and Symptoms, under the Help tab. The section mostly includes information about Mental Health Disorders, such as Bipolar Disorder and Psychosis.
Today was a fun meeting! It was lovely to see everyone back after a two week break. Over the break, each of us played the games and interactive tools offered on the site, then sorted them into new categories as we saw fit.
I’m going to let you in on a secret—or at least a little known fact here at mindyourmind... we’re currently working on a full Usability redesign of the site! I swear, it’s exciting.
This week the mind your mind team started to break down the website. Although it is a slow and grueling task, it’s a lot of fun! We started on a new tab we labeled “The boring stuff” which is basically boring stuff.
