you want to be on our street team-I know you do

Thought I’d give our hard-working st.teamers a break this week and take over the blog duties. We’ve been busy!! The London Public Library started their indie band music series, and we were there front row to cover the story. Jen sat down with the band and chatted them up. On Monday everyone volunteered their time to promote mym in an agency fair held in front of the library. Thanks to everyone who participated !! No one could escape our sales pitch when they walked anywhere near to our booth. I think Tara wins the prize for most enthusiastic promoter – she’s found her calling !!

So in this week’s meeting, we discussed what our st.team pages should look like on the website. With our new videographer filming every move we make, we can have a pretty cool space. We captured some very entertaining video of Tara, Kraig and Andrew trying to put the puzzle/collage together. Add funny music and speed up the tempo, and you’ve got the latest Oscar nomination. Oh they just did the oscars, well there’s always next year.

We broke up into pairs and worked on new questions for the Reach Out Game. This was challenging, but successful. It’s important to have music questions that are in the last decade when we do our presentation!!

Exciting updates – over 350 members in our Facebook mym group!!

The Barenaked Ladies video-interview is now live – check out your st.team leader’s first attempt at video-journalism. Maybe her new calling? Ok not.

We’ve updated the interest section in our profile here, check it out.

And we’re always looking for new blogs for our Mind F&#k Blog on the site. Got something you want to say? Share a personal story? Or a comment on life? Send it to This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it send it, right now!

see, I told you we’ve been busy! no time to chill when the street team gets together. Thanks so much guys for all your hard work – you’re just the best. ‘tear’, really I mean that, ‘tear’ ’sob, sob, sob’

Heather, mym Street Team Facilitator
