YouTube Video Production

E-mail Print PDF

This week the mym Street team started on video productions to promote mental health and mym. These video productions will later be on YouTube.  At the beginning of the meeting, we brainstormed ideas how the short video clips should be directed. We originally decided the videos should have a dash of humour in it. But then we realized the message we want to send across is very serious and should be portrayed seriously.

Our videos all featured Sheldon as the main character and the rest of the street team members were extras. We were only able to shoot two short clips. All of the clips are going to be in different places around galleria. One took place in an elevator. We had extreme difficulty working with the elevator. Another clip took place on the escalator. To shoot this clip, some of the street teamers (myself, Heather and Kraig), had to run up a downward escalator numerous times.

We overall had an amazing time shooting the clips.
Many things didn’t go as planned, so the bloopers are hilarious. Want to know what the videos are about? Want to watch the bloopers? We will keep you updated on when they will be on YouTube. Thanks for reading!
