mindyourmind Street Team - Session Twelve

E-mail Print PDF

The last street team meeting was definitely a very productive one. We had a lot of work to do brainstorming our ads, so we made it a special three hour session. The ice breaker

this week was going around the table, and saying something we’ve done or was a part of in the community.  There was a variety of answers, and it’s good to know that even though we have busy schedules we can come together for a good cause.

We have been working on our posters for professionals who work with youth. We wanted to get the message across that technology is a great way to communicate with youth and help them.  We also wanted to show that mindyourmindpro.ca is a great resource.  In the past few weeks, we have come up with many interesting ideas for these posters.  The hard part is finding which exact ideas to use. We had three good ideas, the “cell phone text” idea, the “computer” idea with a hidden message in the keyboard, and the “office wall, closed door /open computer window” idea. Although, these were all good, once we reviewed them we decided that the cell phone and computer ideas would convey our message better. Then, we worked hard to finish finding the pictures for our posters, writing text and what would be on them that would get our message out. We worked hard in our groups and with our graphic designer. At the end of the night, we successfully expanded our ideas and knew what we’d like to have on our posters. We ended our second last session on a good note!
