We had another awesome meeting this week!  We started off by once again going through what everyone looked like, as well as a fun exercise comparing our mood to a piece of furniture.

We also discussed what the advertising company that’s helping us out (name please!) will hopefully accomplish. It sounds awesome J

We then proceeded to make some comments on posters for causes that are currently being used or have been used in the past to promote a particular cause.  We reviewed two CAMH campaign posters, as well as posters against sexual violence, discrimination against the homeless, environmental awareness, autism, and anti smoking campaign. We discussed what was working for the messages,  as well as what we thought could be improved on. We seem to be going ( in this bloggers opinion of course) in the direction of having a message that is light on the text side but still powerful, and hoping to shy away from anything that ostracizes or triggers individuals of the public.

Oh we also got to see what Brandon looks like, and his awesome picture.

We were giving some “homework” to come up with our own ideas for the campaign(posters, 20 second commercial etc.) due Wednesday night.  It seems like it could be a lot of fun! But at the same time, terrifying! Knowing your ideas are being looked at is always kind of scary. Thankfully we have a very warm and helpful group of people that will help our ideas grow J
