Medway Art

“Thank you for the opportunity to create a series of paintings for your organization.  We were inspired to create images that meant something positive to us, in the hope that our artwork would give a feeling of hope and success to others.  We enjoyed working on this project because it's for our generation, and it allowed us to learn more about mental illness in people our own age.” - Medway High School’s Grade 10 Art Class, 2008

A class of grade 10 students from Medway High School in London, Ontario, each enthusiastically painted an 8’x10’ canvas for display in the new mindyourmind.ca office during our recent move. Allison and Jenny, 2 interior design students from Fanshawe College, designed our new space, complete with a collage of 31 paintings by the art class. Provided with the new office paint colours, red, black, grey, beige and white, the students were asked to paint anything inspired by mental health or mindyourmind.ca.
