When asked if we could feature her as our Artist of the Month, Strawberry responded with a resounding yes.

Spend any time on her web site or profile at MySpace.com and you soon realize that she is passionate about music, expression through art and personal relationships. She has lots to say about issues that matter to most of us. Strawberry appears to be many things to different people. To her community of fans on myspace.com she is poet, songwriter, musician, artist, feminist, muse, …. She is indeed all those things. Here’s Strawberry, in her own words.

“Came from utah mormons. was "different". fell from the mountain with a stick and a dream. ran into bjorn. ran into billy corgan. sang duet at the last pumpkins show "to sheila" we started to play. we added friends. we made a movie soundtrack SPUN. we played on the very last bozo show.. i met marianne faithfull who became my spiritual advisor and filled my head with rock bitch wisdom.. my first time playing with band was a live recording of "love and money" with her, billy, matt, and jimmy. i worked on her record. kissing time. heard her stories of mick jagger and the beatles. went to portland where the dandy warhols had eight different brands of weed. . zwan. what a trip. two years of my life. more or less. needed alot of glue.. after four months i was walking back around. making experiments with my best friend bon and started to write. took a hiatus while i worked on beautiful piano music via sarah mclachlan. made things with dan and kristin burns. songs, and art books, and pictures and things.. fell in love again.. wrote more songs..and here i am. eating rocky road ice cream. Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm”.

Young chicks flashing ass for attention...

doesn't it seem strange how many girls will just bare it all now?
how many are willing to be in porn?
isn't it sad how many women let men walk all over them?
isn't it sad how many starve themselves or shove fingers down their throats?
isn't it sad how most women are obsessed with looking younger?

its a hard thing to care about yourself. to love yourself enough to take care of yourself. to eat well, to exercise, to respect yourself, to stick up for yourself, to take chances for yourself.
esteemable acts build self esteem.
honesty frees your mind.
looking at every situation and seeing what the loving thing is for you makes life easier..
even if it means moving away, leaving bad situations, breaking up with someone.. ect.
its always easier when you jump back on your own positive lifepath.

sexy is not bending over in front of a webcam in nothing but a thong..

don't let a guy make you bend over backwards for him.. if a guy is really interested.. he will make time for you..
he'll care about what's going on in your life..
he'll call you the next day...
he won't call you at 2:00 a.m. for a booty call.. or ask for you to bring him and his friends food. if you find yourself always doing things for boys when they do nothing in return.. they are just using you, no matter what they say.
words mean SHIT.
if you sleep with a guy who sleeps around.. dont expect him to remember your name. and remember that you asked for it.
your gut feeling is usually right. your built in girl radar won't let you down. you can always feel it when shit isn't right. or when some other chick is trying to move in on your territory. your gut feelings are never wrong.

actions matter.. words don't.

the reason why i'm ranting is that alot of girls on here (myspace.com) write to me about their boy issues.. most of these girls are between 16 and 21. most of it just freaks me out.. it makes me sick what girls will do for boys.
please don't lower yourself. it always comes back to bite you in the ass.
love yourself above all. you are more important than any relationship, or crush.
