Not JUST a rock band, but one that will actually ROCK  you with their live performance, Shinedown will tell you to “stand up and jump cause you’re not in church”, and if it’s possible for a band to sound even better live than on recording, they do it! Hearing them play ‘45’ and ‘Simple Man’ live, tracks I’ve listened to since their release in 2003/2004, was surreal! Their lyrics and Brent’s voice put together, find human emotion with a magnifying glass, take it, strip it down for you and jump start your pulse. They are as nice as they are insightful and they have 4 albums for you to check out, one of which is being released this summer. My personal fav is Leave a Whisper.
