Canadian hip hop producer and mc, Classified, from Halifax, Nova Scotia, has made it big with his very own indie hip hop label, Halflife Records. Unwilling to throw in the towel when he couldn’t get a record a deal, he went ahead and paved the road by just creating his own. In 2005 he was awarded with Best Rap Video at the Much Music Video Awards for the video of his track, “No Mistakes”. You probably know him best through one of his hit singles, such as, “The Maritimes”, “Find Out”, “All About U”, with singer / songwriter, Chad Hatcher, or his signature single, “Hard to be hip hop”.
