Three Days Grace

Three Days Grace, music, interview, bandThe collaboration that went into the bearing of One-X is one that was borne out of a need to confront feelings of loneliness and isolation that ironically came from being constantly surrounded by other people. It is about feeling like an outsider. And it is about realizing that you’re not alone in these feelings.

Bassist Brad Walst puts it as, “…It's weird how you can still feel alone in a crowd of people. In fact the only ones we could really relate to were the true fans. They know what's going on inside your head because they are the ones that are hearing it in your music."

So in another twist of irony, the band confronted isolation by isolating themselves and taking their acoustic guitars to somewhere in the middle of nowhere, Ontario. What they came up with, following in the footsteps of their first knock-out album, is the TRUTH.

On their One-X tour, Three Days Grace vocalist, Adam Gontier and Walst, meet up with mindyourmind to chat a bit and put on a FaNtAsTiC show afterwards, including a cover of Chris Isaak’s, Wicked Game. Needless to say, it was a killer show!
