Palms begin to sweat…it’s time to play that awful game

“Will something actually fit me today or am I just being foolish?”

Everyone’s so happy, full of smiles.

They’re all throwing away money and looking fierce.

I’m so embarrassed and ashamed.

I’m scurrying out of stores so no one sees the look of being let down when that size 10 doesn’t fit.

Just once I want to feel beautiful.

Just once I’d want to be like all those other happy, smiling people.
