Enough experience to last this girl a lifetime

Lots of wrong choices probably came at the right time

Can't say she wasn't warned, that would be lying
Now her stupid judgement has her mama steady crying

Bit her lip, blood runs from all the things she couldn't say
But she wasn't dumb enough to have tried to run away
Don't kid yourself; we've got time to fix what's wrong

Still, just as quickly an opportunity can be gone
Truth be told, she isn't okay

Doesn't feel worth it, and has nothing worthy to say

Tired of sitting around, feeling sorry, makes excuses

Do something darling; you're far from being useless

She craves for a happy family, the kind you see on TV

Is that possible? House and all? No, not really

She doesn't need perfection

She needs her best friend, support and she needs affection

Take one more look, take three steps back

There's a lot she isn't, a lot she lacks

Remember we all must live for today, and not tomorrow's satisfactions

Grow up, chin up, take the consequences of your actions..
