Orlando Bowen has always been an active athlete. He started out as a football starter for Northern Illinois University, where he was voted team co-captain and attained a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Marketing and a Master of Science degree in Management of Information Technology.

Ten years ago, when faced with the opportunity to realize her dream of goaltending for Team Canada, Kendra was diagnosed with a Severe Anxiety Disorder
