2nd Annual International Youth Day Mash Up Finalists Chosen!
August 3, 2011 - Five finalists have qualified to perform at mindyourmind’s Second Annual International Youth Day Mash Up Challenge at Wolf Performance Hall on Friday, August 12th at 7:00pm. Nearly 30 talented youth submitted online auditions in hopes of qualifying for a chance to win the top prize. The Entertainers, Cori & Samantha, Taylor Holden, Ashley Weisbeck and JFX LOEBZ; ill at will now must take the stage to impress a panel of guest judges and the general public.Special guest judges include: Dan MacLellan from /A\ Channel, Canadian piano-pop singer, songwriter Darrelle London, owner of Summer Camp Productions Brandon Eedy, Natalie Pooran from 106.9 The X, and Max Specht a mindyourmind youth representative. The Youth Day Mash Up will also include feature performances by dancers from Jo Read School of Dance, Slam Poet Michael Kimber and Canadian piano-pop singer, songwriter Darrelle London.“Celebrating youth and their many talents is intrinsically connected to the mission at mindyourmind.
