We are both humans, both the same age
The only difference being, I am me and you are you
Yet you treat me as though we are as different as day and night
Am I not the same as you?
What did I do to make you hate me so
Why must you call me such hateful names
And say such hurtful and God awful things
Am I not the same as you?
I did not ask for this and I do not want it
How come you cannot see that all I want is to be normal
I do not treat you poorly so why do you treat me like you do
Am I not the same as you?
Even though you hurt me, I do not hurt you
So now I know the answer: I am not the same as you
I do not hurt others to make myself feel superior
I am kind and forgiving, but most of all I am me and that is something you will never be
