Do you ever look at someone and wonder; what is their story? You walk down the street and look at someone and they have a smile on there face and wonder, have they always been that happy? Or does the question pop on to your head, what road blocks have they gone through? What hills have they climbed over? What you see on the outside may not be what is going on the inside. I am a teenage girl from London Ontario; People look at me and see an athletic, happy, out going girl. I have not always been that way. This story is not to make people feel sorry me because of what happened on my past, But to let other teens and young adults know that they are not alone, to share my story and to show that you are not alone in the fight!
No matter how much you want to give up don’t. I once had a teacher tell me he hates people they are annoying and winy. When he drives down the streets he wants to hit them with his car, but he won’t because they are not worth the dent they will put in his hood. I feel that way with kids at school. They will talk smack behind your back then to your face they are your best friend. Not cool. I live in a shelter and I see the same thing among the staff and clients.
It happens everywhere. I have attempted suicide many times before but I am here to tell you its not worth it, I don’t know you who ever is reading this right now but I lost my best friend to a successful attempt at the age of 8 years old I am now 17 and it still hurts me to this day. Don’t do it to people you love. I loved my uncle and I still do. I don’t know you but I love you to, your strong beautiful and you are loved by someone out there.
Put a smile on your face your not alone, mindyourmind has helped me so much. Dance like no one is watching, sing like no one is listening, unless you puke faint or die keep running” because you are worth so much ! Keep your head held high. That’s easier said then done trust me I know that but Reach out Get help give help. I have found help to mental illness through many things people would never think of, soccer, running and just giving someone a hug. Again keep your head up there is a light at the end of the tunnel. People are here. Call crisis line, talk to family and believe it or not the police are here to help keep YOU alive to. REACH OUT.
I am going to leave you with this thought “Life is a garden DIG IT “
