The 12 Days of mindyourmind: Day 4 - Expression Section

The 12 Days of mindyourmind blog series seeks to highlight the ways in which you can use the tools we’ve created with the youth you work with. We know that it can be difficult to think of new ideas, so we’ve compiled some of our best resources and interesting ways to use them.

Today we wanted to highlight the Expression section of our website, which is a collection of creative work related to mental health and wellness. There are two main ways to use this page in your programming. To begin, you can encourage the youth you work with to create and submit their own work. We accept (with discretion) all forms of creative expression: writing, visual art, videos, dance and more! Another option is to have the youth look through the submissions; they could then each choose a favourite expression piece to share with the group and briefly explain why they chose it.
