12 Days of mindyourmind: Day 7 - Wellness Section
The 12 Days of mindyourmind blog series seeks to highlight the ways in which you can use the tools we’ve created with the youth you work with. We know that it can be difficult to think of new ideas, so we’ve compiled some of our best resources and interesting ways to use them.
We wanted to feature the Wellness section of our website today, because it’s a great resource for the youth you work with. The wellness pages have a wide range of easy to implement tips to improve your mental wellbeing. A great way to integrate this page into your programming would be to pick a specific topic and get the youth to pick one tip to try out this week. You could have a mid week check in to see if they’re facing any challenges or barriers with trying the tip. This section is also great for you! Working front line can be challenging and it can be easy to forget about our own self care needs. Choose a self care tip to try out yourself! If you want even more tips, head over to Twitter and follow @mindyourmind_ca. We release a new tip everyday at noon!
