12 Days of Resources: #12 Canada Wide Crisis Lines

To wrap up our 12 Days of Resources blog series, we present you with a comprehensive listing of all of the Crisis lines available across the country, listed by province. If you haven’t found a helpline that meets your needs take some time to browse this list. You will hopefully be able to find something that works for you.
Something to keep in mind: If you are unable to think of solutions other than suicide, it is not that solutions don’t exist, only that you are currently unable to see them. Therapists and counsellors (and sometimes friends) can help you to see solutions that otherwise are not apparent to you.
Do not keep suicidal thoughts to yourself!
Help is available for you, whether through a friend, therapist, or member of the clergy. Find someone you trust and let them know how bad things are. This can be your first step on the road to healing. Contact a crisis centre if you’re feeling hopeless.
And as always check out mindyourmind.ca for coping tips and blogs from youth, and other resources that can help you manage your mental wellbeing. Here are some resources handpicked for you!
