12 Days of Resources: #9 First Nations & Inuit Hope for Wellness Helpline

As part of our 12 days of resources we are highlighting a few resources for anyone in the First Nations/Metis/Inuit community.
Are you feeling overwhelmed and need to talk to someone who will understand where you are coming from? The First Nations & Inuit Hope for Wellness helpline was recently launched and provides support through experienced crisis intervention counsellors. Service is available in English, French, Cree, Ojibway and Inuktitut.
This service operates 24 hours a day, seven days a week. To connect please call 1-855-242-3310.
Another option is the Native Youth Crisis Hotline which is open 24/7 and staffed by Canadian and American operators, 1-877-209-1266.
