This is an exciting time of year at mindyourmind. Students are back in school, our design work is back in full swing and our partners are excited to work with youth in new, innovative ways before year end.

The non-profit world is an interesting one-- a lot of community programs receive funding for projects early in the year and need to see results by the end of March (our 'new year'). Luckily, most of these amazing projects are supported by equally amazing organizations who want to work with youth.

That's where we come in.

• We make sure that when youth are brought in, their voices are heard and respected.
• We look at sketches and wire-frames and turn them into apps. We touch-up collages and turn them into zines.
• We take youth vision and make it into reality.

This time of year is the best because it means that I-- who sits at a computer working on partnerships and budgets most days-- get to sit with a group of young people and see them make a true difference.
