CSC Adventures: October 2022
This is a bittersweet blog for our team, as it will be the final instalment of the CSC Adventures with mindyourmind. It has been five amazing years of travelling across Canada - from the west coast, to the east coast, the prairies and the great white north. The mindyourmind team is so grateful that we have had these opportunities to work with incredible young people across our nation. We experienced working with so many youth and young adults that are so passionate and open about discussing mental health issues that they face, as well as advocating for change in their communities. Youth are fierce advocates for systems change and want to see actionable improvements in our society - it is imperative that we not only hear what they’re saying, but act on it.
To end this last CSC blog we want to highlight the great work we’ve been able to do with young people across the country. From 2018, the year we started this journey, to this past month we have been able to create a variety of self care journal books in eight different languages, five interactive digital tools, multiple toolkit printouts, a zine series and a wellness tips deck of cards. You can find all of them on the Tools section of our website.
The last five years have flown by so quickly. We are so grateful to have been a part of this program that allowed us to work with incredible partner organizations as well.
