Thrifting has become one of my favourite pastimes! Searching for unique finds and treasures always feels like a new and fun adventure. There is something magical about discovering that special item that feels like the missing puzzle piece, the final touch to complete your room's decor or spruce up your wardrobe.

This summer, I've been exploring vintage shops in London, and my favourite discovery is a small shop called Mine 101. It is run by ANOVA, a local agency that provides support, shelter, and resources to abused women and their children. Every donation and purchase made at Mine 101 helps fund their children's programs. The store is beautifully decorated, and feels like you are in a fancy boutique. They offer affordable women's clothing suitable for any occasion, from work attire to elegant dresses (e.g. prom or weddings). The staff is helpful and kind, always making you feel welcome. Not only do you get to enjoy the thrill of thrifting, but it also feels great to support their cause and organization. 

Personally, thrifting has allowed me to explore and express my personality and style in a way I wasn’t able to before. I'm also mindful of fast fashion, and by giving pre-loved  items a new home, I can do a small part in supporting the environment.
