Feel Good Friday: CBC Kids Take on COVID-19
If you have yet to check out CBC Kids, give yourself the pleasure of being informed by some wonderful young people in Canada! To be honest, this has been where I go when I want to be informed about COVID-19 because it’s honest, kind and positive; exactly how I want to hear about the world. The website is beautiful, bright, bold, and filled with diversity; just like the young people who are sharing the information with us. There is no way to NOT feel good after searching through this amazing Canadian site!
It's important to hear the news but at the same time we need resources to explain plainly and positively to our children (and adults) what is going on in the world. This is where we can start to feel better about our current reality. Check out one of my favourite videos on being healthy during COVID-19.
The idea of Feel Good Fridays started because we believe the simple things that bring a smile to our face, are some of the best things. Smiling and laughing have been proven to reduce stress in our lives! When we smile or laugh it releases neurotransmitters in our brain called endorphins, which are in charge of making us happy and helping to relieve stress.
