Feel Good Friday: Corntastic Outreach
What’s the first thing you think of when fall comes to mind? For me, it’s corn mazes! I have fond memories of going with my friends, getting lost and spooked out. They are just the best!
A central piece of the corn maze experience is viewing the different designs farmers create each year, ranging from sports team logos to pumpkins, to everything in between. This year Govin’s Farm in Wisconsin did something a little different.
I like this story because it shows that everyone can make a difference in their own way. Everyone has something special to share even if it’s a smile or some kind words. This #FGF take some time to reflect on how you can use your gifts to make a difference.
The idea of Feel Good Fridays started because we believe the simple things that bring a smile to our face, are some of the best things. Smiling and laughing has been proven to reduce stress in our lives! When we smile or laugh it releases neurotransmitters in our brain called endorphins, which are in charge of making us happy and helping to relieve stress.
