Feel Good Friday: Freaky Friday
It’s fall which means we need to get ready for Halloween and pumpkin spice everything! One little girl is ready to go and is even practicing her dance moves. This video went viral, when I saw it I cried laughing (I’m not sure if it’s actually that funny or if I was just overtired) but I was also inspired!
I loved the enthusiasm of the little girl, she was having so much fun dancing, she didn’t even seem to notice or care that this wasn’t the stereotypical dance party playlist. She found something she loved and just went with it. On top of that she wasn’t shy about showcasing her dance skills in public. Watching this video made me remember to do what I love without shame and to put myself out there more often. I hope this inspires you too!

The idea of Feel Good Fridays started because, we believe the simple things that bring a smile to our face, are some of the best things. Smiling and laughing has been proven to reduce stress in our lives! When we smile or laugh it releases neurotransmitters in our brain called endorphins, which are in charge of making us happy and helping to relieve stress.
Kathryn is a recent MSW graduate currently trying to #adult. Prior to joining mindyourmind Kathryn worked with youth in the community development sector. She loves being part of a team and working on creative projects. In her spare time Kathryn is a proud plant parent, home chef and avid volunteer.
