Feel Good Friday: Supporting Each Other During a Winter Storm

In this edition of Feel Good Friday, we wanted to highlight how communities across Southern Ontario came together to support one another during one of the worst winter storms of the season. On Monday, January, 17th, 2022 southern Ontario was hit with up to 48cm of snow, making the clean up process for municipalities very difficult. Due to this cars were stuck, and highways were closed.
In this time of need, neighbours came to the rescue. With shovels and snow blowers in hand, they helped each other clear walkways, driveways and help those who were stranded due to their cars being stuck. They even went out of their way to clear hydrants and support municipalities in their effort to clear things up.
Seeing how the community came together really warmed our hearts!

The idea of Feel Good Fridays started because we believe the simple things that bring a smile to our face are some of the best things. Smiling and laughing have been proven to reduce stress in our lives! When we smile or laugh it releases neurotransmitters in our brain called endorphins, which are in charge of making us happy and helping to relieve stress.
