Feel Good Friday: TikTok Channels I’m Loving
The land of TikTok can sometimes feel endless in both variety and content, so it’s especially rewarding to find the gems that can always make you feel good! Here are three content creators that I’ve been loving and laughing to recently:
Sandra Jeenie Kwon @jeenie.weenie
Ever wondered what happens behind the scenes with cabin crew on airplanes? Or what the training process is? Or how they handle certain situations or passengers? A full-time flight attendant, Sandra is here to answer some questions with funny skits!
Basement Gang @basementgang
This one is, well, exactly what it sounds like! A group of dancers make hilarious videos, with music and choreography that span both time and place. From afrobeats to Missy Elliott to bhangra, Basement Gang really does it all!
Steve and His Tips from the ER @steveioe
Steve is a nurse who offers ‘insider’ tips, advice, explanations, and funny stories from the ER. The TikToks are entertaining, unique, and – don’t say I didn’t warn you – peppered with some more colourful language.
So, if you’re looking for a laugh this weekend, I would definitely recommend these channels on TikTok. While you’re there, you can also check out our very own TikTok channel, @mindyourmind.ca, for mental health videos and mindfulness content.
The idea of Feel Good Fridays started because we believe the simple things that bring a smile to our face, are the best things. Smiling and laughing has been proven to reduce stress in our lives! When we smile or laugh it releases neurotransmitters in our brain called endorphins, which are in charge of making us happy and helping to relieve stress.
Remember to check back for our next Feel Good Friday!
