Feel Good Friday: Warning - You will laugh at this
I love to cook appetizers, meals, snacks and new fun recipes. I scour meal apps and Pinterest to see if I can make my go to recipes a bit different, more authentic. It’s exciting for me to have people say they love my cooking or give feedback so I can make it better next time.
But there is something I won’t search for, or feel any sort of anticipation to make, and that is BAKING! I have zero interest in making cookies, a cake or any sort of cupcakes. Don’t even ask me about the final step: decorating those baked goods! I can barely draw a stick person with a pen and paper, so I don’t know how I would decorate a cake.
I tilt my hat to bakers and people who can master the world of baked desserts, because it is an art form, and they are artists. When I see the pictures of the “cake fails” that I am sharing with you, I know deep down that if I attempted any of those cakes, mine would be an epic hilarious fail!
The idea of Feel Good Fridays started because, we believe the simple things that bring a smile to our face, are some of the best things. Smiling and laughing has been proven to reduce stress in our lives! When we smile or laugh it releases neurotransmitters in our brain called endorphins, which are in charge of making us happy and helping to relieve stress.
