Two weeks ago I had the pleasure of working with Holly Painter, the two-time Grand Slam Champion of the London Poetry Slam. Her latest piece, Weapon of Choice is a powerful video touching on the consequences of bullying. Holly wanted to share her love of spoken word through collaborating with me on a one inch button design for mindyourmind. I made 200 buttons with the message "Find Your Voice" printed across the front."I think that message can tie into a lot of different things," Holly explained, "Including speaking out about mental health issues, standing up to bullying, comforting a friend, and of course, the tie to spoken word poetry or other art as your voice."The buttons turned out great and were super fun to make.
