International Youth Day 2022

International Youth Day 2022

International Youth Day was recognised by the United Nations in 1999 as a day to raise awareness about issues that young people are facing today. Young people make up almost half of this world’s population and this day acts as a reminder to all the youth related struggles related to mental and physical health, climate change and unemployment. At mindyourmind, we believe it is our responsibility to continue to support and empower youth!

To celebrate all the incredible contributions that young people have made to their community in the field of mental health, mindyourmind is dedicating this whole week to highlight our youth led Design Labs. The Design Labs act as a medium for youth to engage in discussion surrounding mental health and also come up with community focused tangible resources to tackle stigma about mental health.

We thank all the youth that support us in our work and continue to find creative solutions and resources to better support young people in their communities that struggle with mental health issues.

To find out more about our work and how we engage with youth, follow us on Twitter, LinkedIn and Facebook and get to know the details about our Design Labs and resources that you can access that were created by youth for youth!
