mindyourmindpro provides professionals with resources and information to support their work with youth and mental health. Aimed at psychiatrists, psychologists, social workers, nurses, teachers and other professionals dedicated to the wellbeing of youth, the prosite includes:

  • Free access to evidence-based, interactive tools to use as adjuncts in mental-health and classroom settings
  • Case studies engagement that works, notable evidence and inspiring practice
  • Succinct, current and meaningful information for professional development, all in formats that respect our busy lives

This site is a place to reflect and share clinical experience. Professionals and youth can contribute at any point. If you are a psychiatrist, psychologist, social or crisis worker, teacher, counsellor or therapist — if you value and work for the mental wellbeing of youth in Canada — we are here to support you.

The mindyourmindpro community is helped in its capacity building by the province of Ontario, the Ministry of Health and Long Term Care (MOHLTC) and the Young Health Program. MOHLTC commitment to this resource helps us work towards our goal of building capacity within the sector to help advance the use of resources and digital tools in the context of professional practice with youth. Our partnership with MOHLTC focuses on community-development work, service-provider training and social-media education. The YHP is a global, community-engagement initiative of AstraZeneca, Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, and Plan International that aims to change the health of a generation. In Canada, the YHP is delivered in partnership with mindyourmind, Boys and Girls Clubs of Canada and Physical & Health Education Canada.  Through fostering conversations among the youth-serving professional community, the YHP Canada seeks to improve the mental and physical wellbeing of Canadian youth ages 10 to 19.
