My Experience at mindyourmind
As my time at mindyourmind comes to a close, I am leaving with newfound confidence. During my time at mindyourmind, I was given the opportunity to learn new skills and push myself out of my comfort zone. The accomplishment I am most proud of is advocating for mindyourmind resources to be distributed on the Western campus. It was a fulfilling experience because it allowed me to draw attention to mental health and provide resources to members within my university community. During my placement at mindyourmind I was impressed to discover just how vast and varied the resources are that they offer on mental health. I think that as a society overall, that there is still stigma regarding mental health and I truly believe the resources mindyourmind provides helps to lessen the stigma with creative and interactive content. I would urge anyone reading this to discuss resources that you have found helpful with friends and family because you never know how it may help someone else in their journey.
I cannot wait to continue on my mental health journey with the help of the resources they provide.
