Podcast Review: The Mindset Mentor
Hello! Since we have embarked on a new year, I decided that I wanted to try something new! For me, this new thing was listening to podcasts! Lots of my friends and family constantly listen to podcasts, and always rave about it. I personally never found the time, or would get too distracted, so I never really bothered with listening to them. But what better way to start 2021 then trying something new, right?
I recently stumbled across a podcast called “The Mindset Mentor” by Rob Dial. What drew me to this podcast was that it is designed for anyone desiring motivation, direction, and focus in life. With online schooling, I could use a boost of motivation! Also, the episodes are quite short (I’d say the average episode is about 15 minutes long), which makes it very easy to listen to if I am in a time crunch. The relatively short episodes also allow him to get straight to the point – which makes everything clear and concise. What I like about this podcast is that a lot of the ideas Rob discusses are actually quite simple, yet very effective. He does a fantastic job about explaining how to set realistic goals and how to attain them. He also discusses ways to re-organize your life and how to fix small daily habits that will benefit you in the long run. Rob challenges his listeners to live a life of love and purpose, and truly wants everyone to be the best versions of themselves. Overall, I am really enjoying this podcast and the ideas presented! I recommend it for anyone who feels like they need a little boost of motivation – go check it out!
