Hello everyone, my name is Jennifer and I am going to be working here at mindyourmind for the next few months as a Research Associate.
It is important to be mindful of how events in the world and how we engage with them through media can affect our outlook and mental health.
Anxiety is something that many members of our society struggle with on a day-to-day basis. It often becomes this inescapable reality that is their life.
This week I had the privilege of attending the Canadian Mental Health Association’s #b4stage4 conference in Victoria BC.
It can seem like our lives are filled with busyness, noise, distractions, and often meaningless activities.
What if we could filter out all that noise, and focus on the meaningful?
I can't believe 2016 is over. What a year. We had many changes (see our Happy Holidays blog) and are looking forward to 2017.
2016 has been a rough year for many of us. So when we say thank you to all our youth, community and Ministry partners, it feels like hardly enough.
I am a University of Waterloo Co-op student and for the last 4 months, I have worked with mindyourmind as the Marketing and Innovation Assistant. Specifically, I was part of a lot of the promotion for our upcoming project, Be Change.
