Feel Good Friday: Dance!

When you are feeling the beat to a song it can be hard to resist the urge to dance! This week we feature a girl who broke out in dance during her church’s choir performance.

With the recent events that have been happening in the US this week my social media feeds have been filled with angry, frustrated and sad posts. That was until this ADORABLE free-spirited girl dancing in her church choir popped up in my feed. There are too many things that I love about this video, but what I love the most is that this girl didn’t suppress her intuition to dance, regardless of what society deems “acceptable” behaviour. I personally believe that if more people acted on their natural intuition the world would be a better place! Watching this video reminded me of a saying/mantra that I try to live through everyday:

“Sing like nobody’s listening.
Love like you’ve never been hurt.
Dance like nobody’s watching,
and live like it’s heaven on earth.”

The idea of Feel Good Fridays started because we believe the simple things that bring a smile to our face, are the best things. Smiling and laughing has been proven to reduce stress in our lives! When we smile or laugh it releases neurotransmitters in our brain called endorphins, which are in charge of making us happy and helping to relieve stress!

Remember to check back next week for the next Feel Good Friday.
