Sim.err’s Mandala Art

A mandala is a collection of repetitive patterns that form into a circle. Rooted in Hindu and Buddhist practices, the mandala represents the universe as a whole and the circular patterns within it represent the idea that life is never ending and everything is connected. It is often used as a form of meditation for those on a journey towards healing and finding their true self.
As an artist, mandalas have been part of not only my artistic journey but also my mental health journey. I incorporated the practice as part of my self care to cope with anxiety and stress. Doing so has allowed me to work towards experiencing stability when it comes to my mental health.
