Rapper Shad K grew up in London, Ontario, but has roots in Kenya and Rwanda. With strong political views, this MC takes hip hop to its younger days, and raps more about people, as everyday royalty, rather than bling or bang. He tells us, "taking away, what I love in music, just for the sake of making money, doesn’t make sense".
