scarletta
scarletta ran a crooked line
to see if it could bring her home
scarletta lit her match
and she was burnt with desire
now hate is pouring from such a pretty mouth
transforming into such an ugly mouth
hey, you know, she knows the truth about you
so, you know, she’s really better off without you
scarletta knows when the hurt is too deep
when the spectres of it haunt her sleep
scarletta, she is impure
but she knows just when to shut her door
now hate is pouring from such a pretty mouth
transforming into such an ugly mouth
hey, you know, she knows the truth about you
so, you know, she’s really better of without you
she’s gonna dig a ditch
for the love love love to climb out
she’s gonna watch it fall out
in a pit with disregard
she’s gonna mourn the loss of it
as the love love love, it climbs out
she’s gonna leave it buried
six feet down down down
hey, you know, she knows the truth about you
so, you know, she’s really better off without
(gotta go gotta leave this honey, gotta walk away even if this kills me now)
